Our garden is an oasis of trees, water spots, flowers and cool, shady places.

As we have nurtured the garden the wildlife has responded with enthusiasm for its gourmet food and secret hiding places. More and more they are calling it home. There seems to be a consensus that we can stay too, especially if we keep filling the bird baths.

Our garden is home to several different birds that tolerate each other, except at  nesting time, as well as lizards, frogs and bandicoots. Fluffy bumblebees cavort in the flowers and are joined by a motley crew of other bugs.

As the weather warms and the garden beckons, watching the antics of all this wildlife adds to the enjoyment of watching the world go by.

If only the jack jumpers would move somewhere else........

In the garden.........
