Baby Birds, growing fish....

Now is the time to sit and enjoy watching the baby birds venturing forth under the guidance of mum or dad. They sometimes wait expectantly to be fed and are often disappointed. They are also finding the watering holes around the garden. A baby goldfinch flew down with mum/dad to the pond but wasn't quite brave enough to jump in.

Yesterday was the first time we have seen our fish for a while and we were delighted to see so many of them, all growing strong. Now we have to up their feed or they might start eating the pond plants again. It is certainly a feed frenzy when the food hits the water!
